Latest pics, I use this setup actually for the video link test. Old casing, wheels detached, old batteries. Things will change.

Okay, that's how Jaluro looks like now - I tried to finish the body made out of carbon (comlete new design) in time, but I made some faults and I've to redo it later. For now, the old body with the new wheels have to do it.

My first version-name was "Dark Knight" but since it is unfinished, I call it JDK-BloodyMary.

Looks cool! This is with the long range radio so that you can send it all the way to Budapest? ;)

Budapest...easy driving

I did some tests and took a video - problem is, that the right wheel bends to much inward and strikes the antenna. The wheel support mounting brackets are too weak for this configuration.

But I'm on it...we need something to drive behind the ballon at the end of this month ;-)

Congratulations to Tobi with JDK-BloodyMary, I'm longing to see the finished "Dark Knight" :D

Are you really going to test the rover on a balloon? How high will it be? Here I also wanted to do the same thing but unfortunately the milk company only use the balloon for advertisement so it hovers very low.

What transit 'g' forces are you designing to?

In another topic, 46g is suggested as max. i.e. an acceleration rate of 450m/s/s

On earth, a 3 second fall would experience 46g if it lost all its speed in just 60ms
